The Role Businesses Play in Abortion Rights

The Planned Parenthood Corporate Engagement Team partners with U.S. companies to advance sexual and reproductive health care and rights — including abortion care, which is being banned in states across the country.

In the wake of the Supreme Court's decision to take away the constitutional right to abortion, many states have banned abortion — stripping people of the basic right to control their own bodies and determine their own futures. The business community is more critical than ever to ensure access to essential health care and rights for their workers, consumers, and communities. We’ve already seen the harm and devastation that abortion bans have on people and health care systems.
